TO QUALIFY FOR NATIONHOOD STATUS YOU HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED POLITICIAL PARTY...!!!!!

In order to qualify for metis nationhood..you have to be registered as a political party!!!!!!To have the Legal Standing.. to take the steps required.... to achieve that end!!!..then you can proceed with your thinking on what you hope to achieve...my thinking is that everything connected with the establishment of a Metis State should be on the table!!!And it should begin at the Local Community level..... In effect become small Metis State's..the reasoning behind this thinking is that every Metis Community have difference's that are important to them..they must be involved in determining community values,custom,etc,etc,etc,those must be protected by Local Metis state Constitution's LAW'S which protect their ability to sign and operated as independent state,s much like the U.S.A. to-day... My preference would be to start with a small number of Metis Communities and experiment with them..Not every one is prepared to take these steps..... The local metis people themselves Should make know their interest in this move toward METIS-STATEHOOD..and we should be prepared to assist them..!!!(HOW DOES LOCAL ELECTED METIS GOVERNORS SOUND)

WHAT IS THIS FLOCK MENTALITY!!......It is where there is no talking...the group Observes and follow's... Irregardless of the prevailing conditions....The intent is to fill the belly.......nothing else matters.....this is the way of humans....constantly looking for lush pastures.....with a minimum of fuss!!!!!!

Leadership of any nation... determines its place in the history of nations...I don't think anyone would disagree with that!!!!!!!!!...ONE CANNOT IGNORE THE FACTS....we have knowledge to-day where we can form opinions with some accuracy!!!!!!...some nations prosper some do not!!!!it Takes a lot of hard work and commitment!! to succeed..We see the evidence to-day with the internal strife of some nation's..!!!!..Indeed to-day we are witnessing the establishment of a new nation..Called........ KOSOVO..........I wish them Success..!!!!!It is a complex bisness...and it takes brave persons to take those steps...the rewards are self-fullfilling..!!!!!for many reasons..Now as a metis persons I have looked at us..... the metis PEOPLE....and ask myself why we are where we are to-day...!!!!!!.....from being a force to be dealth with in the 1870 period..to what we are to-day a NPC' called the mmf/inc here in what is now called Manitoba...REDUCED TO RUNNING PROGRAMS!!!!! That to me does not Qualify the mmf/inc to call itself a GOVERNMENT FOR THE METIS NATION!!!!!...THE MAKING AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A METIS NATION IS BEFORE US TO-DAY ..!!!!!!!

To some extent i have,and discovered many things about the people i came from...the good!!! the bad!!! and the ugly..!!!!!..It is my opinion that unless you do this self discovery...you will be just what others say you are!!!! you owe it to yourself.... to undertake this exciting journey into yourself .....and the people you came from!!!!!!!! The feeble attempts that metis NPC'S ...place before Canada's courts will bring no resolve....operating within Canada's maze.. traps us...makes us believe we are somebody....Unless you look at yourself...and where you are...you will not advance as a Nation of people....So you begin by placing yourself in the minds of metis people during the period 1860++++++.....they did not record on paper their thoughts...so we have only the records of the time to rely on...... recorded by others........... Some Metis persons Having that essential quality to read what the thinking was then...... is the KEY .....to having an idea of the underlying hopes....

The real Manitoba Broker Was none other than Bishop TACHE........any one that calls themselves a Manitoba Historian ....will tell you that the real power ....that set up Manitoba...was none other than Bishop Tache...he had many puppets doing his bidding...they were The Metis.... the most powerfull group at that time in Manitoba History..
After he was throught with them...he cast then aside as outcasts....He Called for two real french persons from Montreal..JOYAL...GIROUX to represent the interests of Bishop Tache..et al...

Yes folks metis historians wanted.. The term used here.. Metis Historians wanted means that exactly....checking this matter out I find that there are University types.. who claim that title...They take information already in print...!!!! and put out a Version of history from their point of view!!!..trying to make out that they are the experts in this field...Well i challenge that premise....What is sorely lacking here is the ability to put into print the thinking of metis people in different periods of metis history...they cannot do that ..only Metis people with the this unique capability can outline that thinking...these are the metis historian's i am talking about...some of you metis people have that ability...all you need is some encouragement and support...make yourself know to me ...and lets take it from there!!!you are the expert!!!!!!

The principles of nation building require that the people be involved ....in the case of the metis people.....your community Must be the focus.....how this will be accomplished remains one of the most important factors!!!!!...that is community control of the process!!!!!!the community sets the standards and code's of behaviour for the state !!!!! the metis union comes later!!!!!

When is a Democracy..not a democracy....Folks the answer is simple..
There is no Corporation of any kind.... in any Country in the world to-day ...Operating within the laws of that State!!!!!! that could be described as a DEMOCRACY..!!!!...It Is A Corporation...Not A government......!!!!!!..THE mmf/inc...mnc/inc are not Governments of the metis people as they claim to be!!!!!!!!they are corporations Period..!!!!!...does anyone wish to challenge on this Statement..!!!....

Metis People ..should be thankfull that the metis in 1870 rejected this notion of aboriginal inclusion.....while we no doubt had setbacks as a people.......and defeats!!!!!!with leadership failures!!!!!.....we are better off to-day as a people because of that!!!!!!!.....we dont have the dependency that the Indian,Inuit people are experiencing...and the trauma that goes with it!!!!!BUT now ...they have included the metis people..... by constitutionalizing us as an aboriginal people.... in 1982...... this is a setback for the metis people...one day they will come to their senses and reject this outrageous application!!!!WE can ONLY achieve our nationhood status AS A PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!..

OK WHAT MAKES METIS PEOPLE DISTINCT....

For a number of years ...the MNC/INC..MMF/INC have bandied this phrase about but have not to date explained what exactly this means......I will not to-day outline my thinking on the distinctiveness of the metis people,or the metis nation...but let me give you a hint.!!! the objective here is to get metis people thinking!!!!! let me begin by going back to the period prior to 1870...the thinking and policy behind Canada!!!!this is how they viewed the inhabitants in the red river... Canada would recognize land transactions of the HBC prior to 1870........The metis will be treated as other citizens of canada...The indian people will come under the Crown..Treaties will be signed with them where they will be under the protection of the Crown with the force of a TREATY..!!!!!keeping in line with previous treaties sign by the British Crown!!!!before Canada took a Nationhood form of A Government in 1867 .............Canada place the metis people within their Jurisdiction...That is how Canada saw the DISTINCTIVENESS of the metis people... This Policy lasted Until 1982 where they(canada) decided to place the metis people within the Aboriginal Context..Again Due to the DISTINCTIVENESS of the metis people....... Metis people Had no input into these matter's everything was done without the consent of the metis people...BUT all is not lost..!!!!!!!The Metis Nation can Correct all this simply by taking charge of their lifes as a People!!!!!!!
